November 2024: STARS Member Feature

Prakash Chandra Chhipa, Doctoral Researcher at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden, aims to bring vision AI closer to real-world use. Prakash’s research focuses on computer vision robustness, and he recently published a method titled “Möbius Transform for Mitigating Perspective Distortions in Representation Learning” in ECCV 2024 to tackle distortions from natural causes and camera limitations.

Prakash’s top tip when relocating is to start engaging with the local community online before you arrive to make your relocation hassle free. People in general are very helpful.
